Xanadu!

WHAT IS XANADU
Xanadu is an Intellivision emulator which includes multiplayer support
via Kaillera. Xanadu is a complete C++ rewrite of the emulation core
contained in the Bliss Intellivision emulator.

WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED TO USE XANADU
Just as with Bliss, youll need some ROM images to play games.

1) Youll need images of the two ROM chips that were in the original
Intellivision. These files must be renamed to be exec.bin and
grom.bin and they must be placed in the same directory as the
   Xanadu emulator.
2) If you wish to play ECS games, youll also need the ECS ROM image
and you must rename this file to be ecs.bin and place it in the
same directory as the Xanadu emulator.
3) If you wish to hear the Intellivoice in the games which supported
it, youll also need the Intellivoice ROM image and you must rename
this file to be ivoice.bin and place it in the same directory as
   the Xanadu emulator.
4) Finally, youll need some images of some cartridge ROMs. The names
of these do not matter as youll specify the filename on the command
line. However, if you wish to play games over Kaillera, the files
must be in the roms subdirectory beneath wherever Xanadu is
installed. Note that the current release of Xanadu does not include
support for ZIP files, so you must extract any Intellivision ROM
files you do have from their ZIP files.

HOW DO I RUN IT
If you simply want to play multiplayer games over Kaillera, you must
first have the games installed in your roms directory, then just
launch Xanadu by double-clicking on the Xanadu.exe executable. The
Kaillera user interface will appear to allow you to create and join
multiplayer Intellivision games in Xanadu.

If you wish to play a single-player game, open a command prompt, change
to the directory where Xanadu is installed, and use the following
command line.

    Xanadu <cart_filename>

For example, if you have the BurgerTime! ROM in a file named
brgrtime.bin in the directory where Xanadu is installed, then to play
this game, you would only need to type the following.

    Xanadu brgrtime.bin

HOW DO I PLAY THE GAMES
Because there is currently no front-end user interface to reconfigure
the controls to your liking, Xanadu only supports the following keys on
the keyboard for control.

    ESCAPE Exit the current game
    0-9 Intellivision Keypad
    DELETE Clear
    ENTER Enter
    CTRL Top Action Buttons
    Z Bottom Left Action Button
    X Bottom Right Action Button
    ARROW KEYS Disc Pad
